Through Her Eyes

This series of etchings and intaglios are a study of the journey of self-discovery throughout my time in Italy. Each image is an abstracted and fantastic version of a significant moment in my life, which has caused me to reconsider and change myself. The little ragdoll character, Pizqit, that takes us through each scene is our guide, and she gives us an innocent and child-like perspective on each encounter. I used this viewpoint as a way to stand back from the personal and create a sense of wonder that is so often lost as we go through life.
